This project began with a 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible and a simple vision, to create a timeless classic that Lisa Fricke can truly call her own. Owned by John and Lisa Fricke of Johnstown, Colorado, this restoration is centered on preserving the unmistakable character of the iconic Mustang while incorporating tasteful custom touches tailored to Lisa’s style and enjoyment.

The car is currently undergoing a comprehensive, bare-metal restoration. After being media blasted and placed on a rotisserie, every aspect of the build is being carefully evaluated and renewed. From the body and chassis to an all-new drivetrain and mechanical systems, no detail will be overlooked as the Mustang receives a complete, ground-up transformation.

While the finished car will retain the elegance and charm that made the 1966 Mustang Convertible an American icon, subtle custom refinements and modern reliability will ensure it is just as enjoyable to drive as it is to admire. We’re excited to bring John and Lisa’s vision to life and return this classic Ford to the road for many years of memorable cruising ahead.
