This project is more than a restoration, it’s about preserving family history. Kearney, Nebraska, native Ethan Vasko grew up alongside this pickup, learning to work on it with his father and creating memories that have lasted a lifetime. Now, he’s continuing that tradition by sharing the experience with his 16-year-old son, ensuring the next generation has the opportunity to build memories around the same truck.
Dynamic Rides has had the privilege of helping move the project forward with sheet metal replacement and restoration work, giving the truck a solid foundation for its next chapter. While the build remains true to its roots by retaining the original engine, plans call for a fresh baby blue finish that will honor its history while giving it new life.
